Jake & Beth Schaeffer have been happily married since June 2007. They met and graduated together from Seattle Pacific University (Jake as an Electrical Engineer & Beth as a Veterinary Technician) and now live in Lake Stevens with their dog Toby. In addition to leading GEN.Y Ministry, Jake plays sax and Beth plays guitar for the worship team at SCC. They also enjoy going on backpacking trips, listening to good music and playing games at home.
Jake & Beth have a heart for college/career aged young adults since this was such a pivotal time in their lives. Challenges and questions arise during these years that can either strengthen or strangle faith. It is Jake & Beth’s desire to help equip others with the tools to meet these challenges and grow closer to Christ developing a deeper, more personal faith in God.
